Hand washing is the gentlest way to clean alpaca apparel. Follow these four steps and your purchase will provide years of luxurious comfort and use for your dog.
Washing instructions:
Washing: Wash with warm water using a mild soap or shampoo. Gently press excess water from the garment. Avoid twisting or wringing. Wet alpaca fabric requires special care, as it can weaken and stretch out of shape.
Towel drying: Place the garment on a dry towel. Gently reshape the garment to its original form and roll it inside the towel. Press out excess water and repeat this step with another clean towel.
Air drying: Lay the knitwear flat on a clean, dry towel and allow it to air dry completely.
Storage: Never hang alpaca knitwear, as it will stretch the garment out of shape. Store folded flat in a drawer or on a shelf.
Additional note on machine washing:

Machine wash: Place the garment in a laundry bag to prevent snagging. Wash on a delicate cycle in cold water. Dry flat in its natural shape. Do not tumble dry.
